I checked on E-bay in hope of finding a copy in Germany, but didn’t have much luck so I looked in The States, still couldn’t find a copy but did find a site where you can download it from! So being so excited about this opportunity I downloaded it straight away and have already started reading.

The real meat of the book begins very fittingly with sections on probabilities, variations between different slot machines and how to play them. I have no doubt that some people will be glad to find more detailed explanations about these topics than what they had been used to seeing/reading before. There are also sections on how to position yourself in front of a slot machine, reading lights and sounds.
The latter part offers some “tricks” that you can use in certain situations when playing slots: using your senses , visual memory tricks etc. There is also a section on slot clubs and casino comps with advice on how to get the most out of them. Finally there is a short chapter on video poker machines where Gottlieb writes about strategy for 10/7/5 games. He also gives advice on how to play progressive jackpots.
At least from my point of view it would have been better if this topic was expanded upon more instead of the last section which offers lowdown information on various casinos but without many specifics or anything remotely original.
